گبه انواعی از زیرانداز میباشد و همچون فرش بافی ارزش هنری بسیاری نیز دارد بطوریکه امروزه در همه جای دنیا طرفداران بیشماری را به خود جلب کرده است.

برخی از محققان دلیل نامگذاری این قالیچه با عنوان گبه را ضخیم بودن و کاربرد آن در حفاظت نسبت به عوامل مختلفی چون سرما میدانند. گبه که به قالیچه خرسک نیز معروف است از جنس همان قالی میباشد با این تفاوت که در اندازه های کوچکتر و با پرزهایی بلندتر تهیه میشود.
